Dogs have a much wider sound spectrum and perceive the sounds of the high-frequency whistle at the same volume as a normal dog whistle.
The pitch of the high-frequency whistle is individually adjustable. Using the adjustment screw located under the plastic cap (frequency protection), you can select the tone that best suits your dog. The higher tones are for close range, and the lower tones for longer distances. The pitch can be fixed with the nut below the adjustment screw.
